Spartan Leadership Institute Introduction

No matter the reason that lead to you the Spartan Leadership Institute blog I believe it was meant for our lives to collide. 

The intent of this blog post is to introduce myself and the mission of the Spartan Leadership Institute. 

The mission of Spartan Leadership Institute is to create a community of Spartan women warriors striving to achieve goals through authenticity, accountability, and aspirations based on Christian values. 

The mission of Spartan Leadership Institute leads to my introduction. My name is Melissa and academically I have a Bachelor in Business Management and a Masters of Education. I have earned my Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) and Society of Human Resources Certification (SHRM-CP). In addition, a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). 

Professionally I have been in the Human Resources profession for 15+ years. I have held various roles and learned so many skills that I can apply to my professional and personal life. 

Personally my others names are mom, wife, volunteer, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and prayer partner. 

Spiritually I grew up in church and as a teen I created a personally relationship with the Lord. Throughout my adult years my life has taken me if different directions but I know God has always been by my side and has given me favor, protection, and unconditional love. 

I know my story is far from unique because so many women can relate. Women have multiple responsibilities that require us to be stretched everyday. 

The mission of Spartan Leadership Institute and my introduction leads me back to the original purpose of the blog. 

How does the mission of Spartan Leadership Institute and my background compliment my vision? 

Spartan Leadership Institute's blue print is offering a structured curriculum on various topics that support members to reach their goals, hosting work skills workshops, and volunteering. 

My life's journey has fueled my passion of sharing the skills I have learned over the years to other women who are eager to learn through a supportive community. 

The Spartan Leadership Institute blog will be a way to capture the topics discussed in the group sessions and other topics that fuel my passion to help other women as we elevate our lives to the next steps.
